Daniel Mosner is a Certified Addictions Counselor that has been working with individuals and families for over 15 years. While his academic focus and certification is in addiction counseling, its practical application involves the resolution of a wide range of mental health, personal and interpersonal challenges.

Individuals and families seek out a counselor for a variety of reasons. Their commitment to the therapeutic process is driven by respect, empathy and trust. These core values carry the highest priority in my clinical work and are essential elements of effective therapy. It is an honor and privilege to be invited and entrusted with the therapeutic process. My commitment to compassionate effective treatment for each client is unwavering and in constant consideration.”

Academic training, continuing education and practical application have allowed me to become practiced in a number of traditional and emerging clinical modalities. Most often the clinical course will employ a combination of modalities based on the client's world-view and treatment goals. I would identify my fondness and acumen with metaphors, similes and antidotes as my clinical strength.  Each of my client's could recount a preferred story or two that brought clarity or insight to our clinical work.

I am a people person. I like people and believe in their inherent goodness. Being helpful to others brings out the best in me. References gladly provided upon request.
